Turkey Details- Do Not Reply To This Email - It Is NOT Time To Order Yet

 

Hard to believe that it's that time of year again but it is.  It's been another rough year on turkeys here  and though we had plans to raise lots of birds this year, we are now at just a fraction of those.  Fortunately, it looks as though I've got a friend that is going to help us out with some birds to help make sure everyone that wants a turkey will have one.  His are all natural and pasture raised, just like our birds and he's been at it as long as we have so we're confident on his ability to produce a high quality bird.

 

Here are the details so look over and decide if you want to get a turkey this year.

 

-WE WILL SEND OUT THE TURKEY ORDERING EMAIL NEXT WEEK.  You must reply to THAT EMAIL to get a turkey.  Turkeys will be filled based on "first come, first serve" to that email until they have all been spoken for.

 

- we anticipate this years turkeys will be about 15-17lbs on average

 

- if you have a size request (ie bigger bird or smaller bird) we'll do the best to match you up with what's available

 

- this year we plan to have birds available for pick up at the Davidson and Salisbury farmers markets on the Saturday before Thanksgiving (11/22) - We will have a Charlotte pick up Saturday afternoon

 

-due to the limited number of birds we may have to limit everyone to 1 bird- if you would like a second bird please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate that request

 

- price is $5.99/lb

 

- as usual we require a $40 deposit be made - balance will be due at pick up

WTF News- October 3, 2014

Happy Friday!

 

It's hard to believe that October is here already.  As many of you know this has been a really rough year on turkeys here with massive losses early due to turkey stupidity and some really bad luck but we still have a few that have made it through.  We are lucky again to have a friend that raised some extras that he's going to help us out with, we just have a few details to work out before we can start taking orders so stay tuned over the next couple weeks for more details.

 

We will be at the markets this weekend.  And we have restocked on some pork.

Salisbury Farmers Market- 8-Noon  Don't forget that the SFM has rearranged a little bit since there are fewer vendors so Domisty will most likely be in a new spot

 

 

This would be a good weekend to stock up a little bit because we will not be at either market for the next 2 weekends (10/11 & 10/18)
