Wild Turkey Farms News- January 7, 2011

Happy New Year everyone!!! Now we're getting geared up for another great year at Wild Turkey Farms. Our spring garden seed has been ordered and it will soon be time to get in the greenhouse & start planting. Our big plan for this spring is to offer a small vegetable CSA so stay tuned for more info. We have also finally taken all of the 2010 chickens off the payroll. This weekend we'll have whole birds, boneless breasts, leg quarters, and wings so come by and stock up this weekend.

Day Of The Pig 2011- Wild Turkey Farms & Chef Charles Catering are proud to offer our 1 of a kind Charcuterie Workshop again this year. Once again we will have a full day of exploring the ancient art of transforming a whole pig into delicious cuts, sausages, cured meats, and pates. Class size is limited to maximize hands on, individual instruction so sign up soon. A gourmet wine lunch prepared by Chef Charles and his team is provided.
