Market Update for Local Shoppers from the Farmers
 
The farmers at the Salisbury Farmers Market have indicated that they will have the following produce available this Saturday, June 22: 
VEGETABLES:  Bell Pepper, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Baby Cabbage, Savory Cabbage, Carrots, Eggplant, Garlic, Hot Peppers, Kale, Onions, Radishes, Red Potatoes, Squash, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Kale, Lettuces, Salad Mix and much more.
 
HERBS: Basil, Dill, Parsley, Oregano
 
ADDITIONAL ITEMS:  Georgia white sweet corn, Vidalia onions, Athena cantaloupes, medium onions, potatoes, homemade goat's milk soap, homemade sugar scrubs, homemade lotion bars, homemade hair bows, Alpaca clothing and local free range eggs.                                               
COMMENTS FROM OUR VENDORS:                      Barnhardt Farms and Vineyards will not be at the Salisbury Farmers Market this Saturday, June 22.
                                                                                                          Field grown tomatoes have finally arrived and we will have lots to choose from this week.                                                                                                         Hi Everyone, This week at the Saturday Market we will have the following veggies grown on our farm: sweet banana and cubanelle peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, several varieties of eggplant, stringless Derby snap beans, half-runner green beans, jalapeno and cayenne peppers, squash, several different varieties of tomatoes and zucchini.                                                                                                         The market opens at 8 a.m. to noon. The market has relocated to the corner of South Jackson and West Fisher Streets in downtown Salisbury near Rowan Public Library earlier this spring.
