I always get asked what we do when the Farmer's Market is on break for the winter. Well, to start with the Salisbury Farmer's Market ends in December & starts back in April but the Davidson Market runs year around. So you will find Lee at the market year-round.
The farm still has to operate no matter what time of the year it is or what the weather is like outside. Trust me the pigs did not know it was Christmas Day they just look forward to seeing Farmer Lee riding the Mule to come feed them!

Homemade Chicken Stock
I have been making chicken stock for awhile now but normally I'll either freeze it or make a batch to keep in the fridge. This was the first time I actually canned it.
Rosty receives Arrow of Light
Both of our boys are Cub Scouts but our oldest received the highest rank in Cub Scouts the Arrow of Light & will become a Boy Scout next month
New Puppy
Many of you know our Guard Dog Annie. We decided it was time to get her a puppy to train. Meet Roo. Roo is a Kangal/Akbash cross. She has quickly won our hearts. Annie is still undecided at this point
Christmas at Great Wolf Lodge
This year my folks gift to our family for Christmas was a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. The boys had a blast!!
New Pantry
We live in a house that was built 40+years ago & our kitchen storage was lacking. With the help of a Contractor we were able to build a pantry & then Lee completed the pantry (paint, floor & shelves). I absolutely love my new pantry!!
So, there you have it a little glimpse into what WTF has been up to the past month.
