Back in November several brave souls (myself included) who were either Salisbury Farmer's Market Board Members or Bread Riot Board Members had the opportunity to interview candidates for the new Bread Riot Executive Director/Market Manager.
Our Market Manager, Harry Agner, was ready to retire from his duties. After trying to figure out what we were going to go in 2015 for a Market Manager we decided to enter into a joint venture with the Bread Riot who was looking to hire an Executive Director.
I won't bore you with all the details but we had a great pool of candidates & had to make a really hard choice. In the end we hired Eric Bowen.
Eric has been super busy since moving to Salisbury. He has been touring local farms, writing grants & he has posted a survey on the Salisbury Farmer's Market Facebook page concerning a mid-week Market.
