WTF News- September 30th

Wild Turkey Farms News- Sept 30

Short & Sweet this week- Been busy getting ready for the farm dinner this weekend & thanks to everyone who's coming. It's shaping up to be a great event. We've got some great new products in the works so stay tuned for details in the coming weeks. Have a great weekend.

On a personal note- Sept 29 marked 10 years of Domisty putting up with me on an official basis. I am truly blessed to have a partner that works as hard as she does to make everything happen. She manages to work a full time job, help at the farm, raise Rosty & Charlie, get up early on Saturdays to work the market, and still hasn't manage to kill me or the dog for getting in the way.....Thanks and I love you Do.

Thanksgiving Turkeys- So far so good. Our turkeys are growing right along just like a turkey should so hopefully we'll have plenty of them this year. As usual we'll sell our thanksgiving turkeys through this email list. We'll have details on price, size, etc coming in the next month.

Davidson Farmers Market (8am-noon)- Come find us in the town hall parking lot and stock up on our delicious pork, beef, chicken, and eggs.

Reminder- We will Not be at either the Elizabeth Ave Farmers Market or at Salisbury Farmers Market this Saturday.

We hope that you'll support some of the chefs & businesses that support us & other local farmers.

  1. Hey Lee! Came across your blog when doing an internet search this morning. Wanted to refresh my memory on butchering chickens. Glad to hear you all are doing well. Do you still have the mobile chicken butchering unit? Might have to keep that in mind for next year. Take Care!! Tim & Sandy Stamper
