We had the opportunity to volunteer with the Piedmont Culinary Guild at the Inaugural Bacon & Brews Cruise-In.
There were 20 chefs & 5 Breweries competing. The chefs all had to use bacon in their dishes. They varied from sweet to savory. All the ones I tried were DELICIOUS!!!
Chef Craig Diehl was also there doing a whole hog butchery demonstration.
WTF was there working the T-shirt booth & selling Cheerwine & Uncle Scott's Root Beer.
I took a few pictures before the event started but because we were working I didn't get out much during the event.
It was a great event & they have already started planing next years event!
