Triple D- Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives

As I have mentioned many times before we are so lucky to get to have different experiences while promoting eating local.  We have been part of farm tours, various groups such as summer programs, Cub Scouts & college classes have come to the farm, we have spoken at many events through the years & taken part in farm to table events.  Now we can add TV show to our growing list.

One of our favorite places to eat (when we make it to Charlotte) is 300 East.  They have being supporting local farms for a while & we are glad to be part of their farm family.

They were chosen to be on the Food Network Show Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and they featured lamb ragout & Butterscotch Ice Cream sandwiches.  What made it even more special for WTF was that the lamb used was from our farm.

The staff at 300 East invited the WTF crowd to be part of the filming for the show.  There were a few days that they actually filmed but we were there the day that Guy was there.

Having never been on TV before it was really neat to see the process but unfortunately we were not allowed to have our cellphones turned on (which makes sense) so we have no pictures of that day.

The show aired May 22, 2015.  If you know what you are looking for you can see a glimpse of us in the background behind Guy.

Congratulations to 300 East for all that you have accomplished!!!
